Reading Roxanne.
If I got the theme song stuck in your head, I'm sorry, but I didn't even make a parody of it here! I really like this one.
A very special drawing for a very special person.
Had been a long time since I drew a person... er... human... I mean... uh.. faery. So that part was rusty, but still came out okay. Ah, profile, saving my skin again ::laughs::
Yes, she liked it very much ;-)
Roxanne, just hanging out.
I didn't like this when I finished it, but this time, I like it much more now. I will say, it was a lot of fun to draw!
Ah, now getting back into the flow! I quite like this one. Sloane, drinking coffee (a running trend in my drawings, I'm realizing... you start to see what I generally do while I'm drawing!)
Had been a long time since I drew her, so parts of Sloane look a little too much like Roxanne, but still, it came out pretty well.
Eeee... yeah... this one's just really, really awkward. Nothing about it works that well. Especially the fact that she looks stoned, which is not what I was going for! This was when I was still playing with filling the eyes in pen, something I later dropped as I don't think it's the greatest style.
Can't all be winners.
Fun drawing for the pose, but not my favorite. Kinda weird. This was actually a drawing I hadn't finished for a while, then went back and completed. Even then, I didn't get a chance to sign it! Put in the signature right before scanning.
Roxanne, turning around.
You know, I really liked this one when I first finished it, but afterwards, every time I've looked at it since, I've never liked it as much. ::shrugs:: Finally starting to get out of one of one of those awkward sketching periods.
Hey, I started updating again! Got a few days lined up.
Bah! This was from a frustrating period for me... proportions and things just weren't lining up. But it gets better over time.

A view of the beautiful front of Pittsburgh's Penn Station. I wish I could go back and do this again... I'd make sure to fill the gaps and try to do some multiple exposures in order to get better lighting.
