Merry Christmas, two days late!
So, um, yeah... ::blushes:: I had kinda meant to post these pictures before the holiday, but I was so busy I kinda never got around to it... my fault! Hope it's not too late! Here they are:
Roxanne Christmas: A fun, silly Christmas image. Funny story: my whole idea in drawing this was to draw a character wearing a Santa hat. After I finished drawing, put my stuff away, and stood up, I realized I had forgotten to draw the hat! The whole reasons I had drawn the picture in the first place! Oh well. Thought about adding it, but I think it's okay as it is.
Merry Christmas, but...: Merry Christmas, but if you ever make me wear this again... Colleen before Christmas. I do have a feeling this is how she would react, especially if she was in a bad mood. Other times, she'd wear it willingly... Can you believe I almost forgot the hat in this one, too? Damn. But the image wasn't finished, but I found a place to put it ;-).
Merry belated Christmas!
A fox in the style of Sergkz (or at least I hope that's his moniker, he also goes by Kejzfox). I love his style, and it gives me a great opportunity to try a new look.
This one is kind of a mix between our styles. I really think it came out well!
So, I drew a really quick anthropomorphic Sasha. Haven't drawn her in a long while, so this was fun! Wasn't crazy about the eye when I finished, but in retrospect it's not bad at all, it's just not what I had in mind. I still like it.
Now this is more like it. Love this pic. Sure, the face isn't *perfect*, but it's much closer to what racoons look like! I think it would look more clear colored. Either way, the body came out wonderfully.
You know, that sounds really dirty or evil when you word it like that... maybe you should disregard that last sentence...
Trying to draw a racoon. It's... okay. Really frustrating was that I came back to finish the tail later, and I'm not sure it came out too well.
Still, it's not terrible or anything.
Here's Colleen drinking coffee.
Not super happy with this one; proportions are all wrong. But practice is always good.
Sweatshirts and visible bras seem so 80's! Love the way this came out.
Maybe she should be listening to some Paula Abdul? On second thought, never mind...
Okay, if I may, I think this turned out awesome. I have to admit upfront that I got the outfit and pose from another drawing which, at the moment, I cannot find to attribute (sorry, artist! If you see this, drop me a line so I can credit you!) It was an experiment in clothing (worked great!) and body pose (worked pretty good!).
Besides, it's totally something Colleen would wear. For Halloween or something... I don't think she'd actually want to be sailor scout all the time...
But I'd certainly watch this TV show!
It's funny, when I drew this, I didn't like it. But now, I think it came out really well. I think it's because I didn't have a clear vision when I started, just a rough idea (I saw a trenchcoat, and I wanted a different facial expression). And it all worked out pretty well, if you ask me.
